Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County

Who we are

Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County (PCARC) has been serving Riverside County as the lead agency in child abuse and neglect since 1983. Our mission remains the same:  to prevent child abuse and neglect, and promote strong families, positive parenting, and safe children through advocacy, public awareness, and coordination of community programs and services.

What we do

Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County focuses on the health and well-being of children living in our communities. Our programs include:
  • Awarding grants to kids  living in the foster community through our Believe & Achieve Fund.
  • Quilts for kids is a special donation of handmade quilts specifically used by  Child Protective Service Workers and law enforcement to help comfort kids in crisis.
  • Positive Disciple training.
  • Purple & Blue Ribbon Campaigns for awareness of child abuse related issues.
  • Host a Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Picnic to provide resources, information and hospitality to a growing demographics of grandparents raising their grandchildren.
