Whenever you think that abuse or neglect may be happening to a child, please call 1-800-442-4918.
Do I have to give my name?
No. You can remain anonymous if you wish. However, it is helpful to have your name and the telephone number in case additional information is needed.
How can I help?
Be a friend to both the parent and the child. Offer to run an errand, baby-sit or just be available to listen. Suggest community organizations that might be able to help the family. Get involved with Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County.
